There are no dearth of such treatment specialists who consider use of cannabis a harmful habit and a step forward to becoming drug addict. Most of their presumptions are based on false notions and not real facts. Contrary to their belief, graines de cannabis can really work to help and heal the patient, especially when the patient is passing through a traumatic phase.

Graines Cannabis can be abused but so also any other prescription drug or medicine.  Judicious use of cannabis could give real benefit to the patient and could turn out to be a real help for the treating physician.

Will use of cannabis make you anti-social?

The answer is a clear “no”. Use of cannabis itself cannot turn a normal person into anti-social.  Studies after studies have revealed and finally established beyond any reasonable doubts that cannabis users are more adjustable than non-users to the given situation and chances of their becoming drug addict is remote.

Especially children having emotional problems require support and help to get into a healthy and explorative behavior. In such cases limited doses of graines de cannabis could be useful and not harmful.

Critics of cannabis like marijuana claim that it makes you lazy and you also become unmotivated.  Again this is not true.  Studies of responsible army officers accustomed to marijuana indicated that there are no such symptoms of their becoming lazy and unmotivated.

Till date none excepting the adolescent teenagers have been found to be affected in this manner by use of marijuana. None of the adult persons are affected. Even in such adolescent teenagers the symptoms are never permanent. The motivation returns back to normal level after months of stopping the marijuana smoking.

Will use of cannabis lead to drug addiction?

Once again, if you go by the research and experiments, the answer would be that there is no danger of your becoming a drug addict because you are accustomed to using graines de cannabis. On the contrary, in many cases use of marijuana has helped the drug addict to finally break the shackles.

In Netherlands, the decriminalization of marijuana saw a big reduction in use of heroine and the result was highly positive in reducing drug addiction. Since marijuana or cannabis does not cause a state of tolerance like the harmful drugs, they rather prevent people from using harder drugs.

Over forty million people in United States have been using cannabis for a substantial period in their lives. The number of users of heroine and harder drugs does not exceed even ten million.  As already said, use of marijuana and similar graines de cannabis does not develop tolerance and users are therefore not on the lookout for higher effect drugs.

That is why the once highly propagated gateway theory of use of drugs is no longer relevant in the present day scenario. Marijuana could even be used to take out the affects of other harmful drugs to some extent.

Sociological impact of cannabis

It is often argued by sociologists who are critics of cannabis that it is the source for future drug sub culture. They claim that use of cannabis leads to subsequent use of harder drugs. In reality the reverse is true. Marijuana or cannabis does not create drug subculture. It is the drug subculture that uses them. That is why you will find many cannabis users who are never a part of the drug subculture both in United States and across the globe.
